Has anyone used the Cruise Bar Cash, and purchased the cheer's program yet? I was wondering if it could be done. I am hearing mixed responses. Thanks

I for one don't see the purpose of the cruise cash bar or the cruise cash photo options. They seem redundant and unnecessary given that you can buy cruise cash.

 

I would stick to the one that gave me the most flexibility!! IMHO:D

The reason I asked about the Cruise Bar Cash, is because I can purchase it with my Mastercard Carnival points, they offer either the Cruise Bar Cash or the Cruise Photo Cash, not the normal Cruise Cash

I just used the cash bar credit from my credit card points for about $25 two weeks ago on the Dream...immediately on my S/S card. gone after two drinks each, though.

then if you get points go for it. BUT, I would make sure with carnival if it can be used for the cheers program. the bar and photo cards are only good for those two things and if you don't use it up, you lose any $$ balance. I like getting points on my card, but imo I would just rather prepurchase the cruise cash card and that way it can be used for anything on the ship. but again, just remember not to purchase too many or you'll lose any bal left over
