overthehillcruiser Posted November 14, 2013 #2 Share Posted November 14, 2013 I have not seen any, but if they did sell them prepare for a very hefty price...
Colorado Kat Posted November 14, 2013 #3 Share Posted November 14, 2013 I have seen snorkels for sale at the excursion desk, but never masks.
PDC55 Posted November 14, 2013 #4 Share Posted November 14, 2013 Not sure what ports you are going to but I left my snorkel equipment in the car three weeks ago when I sailed on the Magic. I was able to purchase a half way decent mask and snorkel at a shop next to Captain Marvin's office across from the pier in Grand Cayman. I think it was less the $35 for the combo and I just used the tour operators flippers.
floydfamily4 Posted November 14, 2013 Author #5 Share Posted November 14, 2013 I am really just looking for the part that goes in your mouth and the tube. I thought I saw in someone trip review that they had them at guest services or excursion desk. We just booked an excursion so now I am trying to retrace where I saw it. thanks. Colorado Kat Posted November 14, 2013 #6 Share Posted November 14, 2013 I believe you are referring to the snorkel. Yes, I have seen them sold at the excursion desks. Not sure they are sold every time, since I bring my own. To be sure, I might go to a Scuba shop at home and pick up snorkels.
cruisedogs2000 Posted November 14, 2013 #7 Share Posted November 14, 2013 They usually have the snorkels for sale at the shore excursion desk. In August, they were $5. We bought some years ago and didn't care for them because the mouth piece was really hard. Husband and I both ended up with a sore mouth from using them. You can buy inexpensive snorkels at your local sporting goods store.
