Hotel Buenos Aires 1 night pre-cruise

Am booked on 30 day Buenos Aires to Los Angeles cruise on the Crown Princess embarking March 6, 2014 and am looking for a hotel for 1 night March 5-6. My flight arrives in Buenos Aires 10:55 Am on March 5.

 

Have been looking at Cruise Critic and other sites for ideas for pre-cruise hotel and am leaning towards Novotel at $137 or Hilton at $244 ($264 with breakfast). While I am a member of Holiday Inn and Wyndham loyalty programs their locations didn't seem ideally located or their rankings/comments quite as good as the Novotel and Hilton.

 

Was hoping to get some insight and ideas for a 1 night pre-cruise hotel in Buenos Aries. The $264 for the Hilton is around the top end of my price range.

The Hilton is a nice hotel in an excellent area of Puerto Madero, albeit on the pricey side.

 

I would opt for the Holiday Inn express over the Novotel based on location and convenience. I had no idea there was a Wyndham property in BA. The HI is on a noisy street (so is the Novotel) but ask for a high room and the noise is not a factor.
