danny91180 Posted December 10, 2013 #1 Share Posted December 10, 2013 Does anyone know about what time the Elation and Sunshine will cross paths in the Mississippi when the Elation departs on a Sat? This also happened when the Conquest was still here?
WLHyatt Posted December 10, 2013 #2 Share Posted December 10, 2013 This did happen with the Conquest. Depending on departure time and arrival time it usually happens between 11 pm and midnight. Note that it can happen twice in a sailing, if the sunshine is leaving on Sunday and the elation on Monday then the elation will be going upriver as the sunshine is going down. The Elation will turn over and begin it's Monday 5 day sailing arriving back in New Orleans the following Saturday. That night it will pass the sunshine which will be headed upriver to turn over on Sunday.
