Wine bottle opener

Just a quick question, do I need to pack the wine opener in my checked luggage or in my carry on? It is your standard flip wine opener. This is strictly for the ship and not for an airline.

Why risk it? Bring one in your checked luggage to be safe.

The one the steward gave me (white w/ Carnival name/logo) wasnt worth the effort. I bring my own. Pack it in your carry on and it will be fine.

We always bring our own. One of those cheap small ones. It stays in our travel bag and goes on all vacations alongside the toothpaste and what not.

It's much easier than trying to hunt one down.

We got a little white one from room service or the cabin steward (can't remember which) on one of our first cruises and it stays with our cruise things and we bring it each time we cruise.

Doesn't matter where you pack your corkscrew. Checked luggage if you don't want to carry a potential weapon. The little ones that Carnival gives you can be tough to use. I would bring a better quality one.

I've carried mine on w/ my wine. No problem.
