The one in our room had a keypad...no credit card needed.

So glad they got rid of the card type safes when we were on the Breeze in June. So much better. Going on the Elation in January. Will have to bring an old hotel key for that!!

just came home from the breeze ... just pick a 4 digit code :-) ...also just an fyi that you need to use your sign and sail card to turn on the lights (it is to save power) but we took an extra gift card to use in the slot and that worked also ( someone also put a magnet on the back of their gift card and then it would stick to the wall above the light card slot ....
