Anyone have reliable tours at the ports in Muscat, Abu Dhabi and Dubai?

We try to avoid the ships tours.

In March 2013 we took the HOHO tours in both Muscat and Abu Dhabi. Thought both were excellent. If you decide to take these tours, make certain to schedule your visits to coincide with opening hours for the mosques as they are highlights of these destinations.

Taxis also an option in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Very reliable and safe and cheap too (thanks to no duty on fuel)

You will probably call at Khasab too, if so I can thoroughly recommend the fjord trip to see the dolphins.
