Question about the current $80 Bar Credit

We were issued our $80 bar credit yesterday. We booked on December 20 while onboard the Paradise. We had benefited to a special "additional" obc as a booking bonus. (It was $200 for a 9 day cruise in April instead of $100). I was worried that we would lose that if we tried for the $80. However, we were able to get BOTH! It shows up on my account as $200 OBC, and $80 bar credit. So, now our gratuities are pre-paid and we got a jump on the bar tab! Loving that!

Congrats Carrie!!!!

Thanks guys, I sent this to my TA and she got me the $80 bar credit and a price reduction of $200. I made sure I didn't lose my ES promo since if the price drops I would like the additional OBC :)

Now that the bar credit is gone, if you do apply for additional price drops, you will lose the $80. So if you'd only gain, let's say, $10 from a new price drop, it wouldn't be worth it to lose the $80.
