tvan76 Posted December 30, 2013 #1 Share Posted December 30, 2013 Hi all, We are in port in Nassau for 6 hrs and want to do the Discover Atlantis tour ... Is there enough time to do so? Can anyone confirm the cost? I have come across a few different prices .. $35 for adults and $25 for kids .. then saw $25 for adults and $19 for kids ... It doesn't seem to list on the actual Atlantis site, unless I am looking in the wrong place .. Where are we able to purchase the tickets? Cost of the taxi fare, round trip? Thanks! Thanks! 6 hours is plenty of time of Discover Atlantis (which can be done in a hour or so.) Discover Atlantis is a tour of the DIGS aquarium and predator lagoon, along with the lobby and a very small portion of the outdoors. It does not allow access to the hotel grounds, beaches, lagoons, pools, slides or any other venue. It is just an aquarium tour, which can be done in 45 minutes or so. The current cost is $45pp. Most do not think it's worth the price. Cab is $5pp going over via shuttle... coming back it's $11 for 2 ppl.

tvan76 Posted December 30, 2013 Author #4 Share Posted December 30, 2013 $45 pp for a 45 minute tour does not seem worth it to me .. I was hoping it was at least 2-3 hrs and was only looking at spending $200-$250 total .. We may just walk around and shop for a couple of hours .. Thanks for your help .. Froufie Posted December 31, 2013 #5 Share Posted December 31, 2013 Can one just 'visit' the hotel? and possibly 'enjoy' the casino? Or is there a cost to do that?
scubagirrl Posted December 31, 2013 #6 Share Posted December 31, 2013 Can one just 'visit' the hotel? and possibly 'enjoy' the casino? Or is there a cost to do that? Yes and no.. when you enter the lobby, you will be "escorted" to the casino. You cannot walk around and enjoy the lobby or investigate. Of course, the casino is for 18 and older... no kids. There are a few shops in the old towers that are accessible as well. But not very interesting or pretty. You can also check out the marina village, which is located adjacent to the hotel. Outside the hotel property. Other than those specific places, you will be asked to leave without a day pass at some level.
