Fun Ship dollars

I have been purchasing Fun SHip Dollars so I can have a credit on my S & S card- when i receive them there is a top portion that asks if you want it to be a ship board credit and then they ask you to mail it back to Carnival, I called Carnival and the rep said you don't have to mail it back just bring in the Fun SHip dollars to the pursers desk and they will credit your account, I am confused, I have heard people saying not to believe waht the reps say, has anybody bought Fun Ship dollars and did they mail them back or just bring the whole thing to the prusers desk and get a credit on their account. Thanks for any infor!

I take mine with me on the cruise to the pursers desk- I dont feel comfortable mailing them in in case they got lost. (I had no problems.)

 

curious-- does yours have an expirtation date?

Thanks for info--I think I will keep mine and take them with me also, they do have an expiration date of July 2007

I just call Carnival every payday and i put it 'on account' for me. They take it right from my checking account. I just keep records of when i call who i talk to and the comfirmation number. I will be doing this every week till we cruise in October. No problems with doing this either and the hubby does not know i am doing this yet.
