He's got plenty of time to plan! Even though its too early to book shore excursions under his crusie planner, he can go to the Royal Caribbean website and look under "Ports of call" and then search for shore excursions under each of those Eastern ports. That will give you cousin an idea of what is offered on each island, and how much they cost.

Sounds like mom might enjoy a beach snorkel with some beach time afterwards, rather than a boat snorkel. Usually the excursions have pretty good descriptions so you can find the type you are looking for. Anything with drinks will satrt costing close to $100 pp, something with beach and snorkel where you pay for your own food would be closer to $50 pp.

In general SMX is not a snorkeling hot spot, though there is some nice snorkeling on Islet Pinel, it requires a boat. Nassau has a couple of snorkeling tours, we did Rainbow Reef and the snorkeling was only OK, and the boat ride was quite far. It might be cheaper to do a day pass to Blue Lagoon and rent snorkel gear there and snorkle off the beach. St Thomas, has loads of snorkel options, many off of boats, and some all the way to St John, which does involve a ferry, but then you snorkel from the beach. St Thomas will also have some, snorkel and beach tours. So do have our DC check the list of shore excursions.

Good luck!
