Snorkeling Suggestions...Royal Palm or Eden Rock

Looking for a nice place to do some snorkeling that has a beach. We need a place that we can rent the snorkel equipment, prefer somewhere with a nice beach, chairs, food, etc also. We have either snorkeled once/twice or it will be our first time, so we are not highly experienced! It would be awesome if the beach had jet ski rentals as well, but snorkeling is a must. Am I asking to much? We are considering Royal Palm or Eden Rock...thoughts, suggestions?

Eden Rock is MUCH better snorkeling, but there is no beach. It's Iron shore or coral so there really isn't a beach, but that's what makes it such good snorkeling.

We like Sunset House resort (which is a few blocks past Eden Rock) because a) great snorkeling (with rental if needed), b) awesome deck/patio with restaurant and bar c) sea pool to get used to the water before heading out d) swimming pool to use.

We mostly like it because of the atmosphere, food and drinks. Because it's got awesome snorkeling is icing on the cake. As long as it's waterfront.....we don't need the sand.

Paradise Grill has a similar set up, less the pool and atmosphere, but it's got great snorkeling at Eden rock, food, rentals, waterfront tables and chairs.
