Rare david,Mississauga Posted February 17, 2014 #76 Share Posted February 17, 2014 ... Indeed neither would I travel on a cruise ship with film teams telling me what zo wear and where to be. This is a central cause for me never to travel with the Deutschland. I would love to have been on the QE2 when a one-hour episode of Keeping Up Appearances was being taped. The extras were unpaid passengers who played their parts very well, meaning they did not look at the camera or stare unnecessarily at Mrs. Bucket. Many of them volunteered to get dressed formally at an unusual hour for a re-take. The making of that episode is described in great detail in producer/director Harold Snoad's book: "It's Bouquet, not Bucket." :)
brigittetom Posted February 17, 2014 #77 Share Posted February 17, 2014 (edited) I loved that episode also. If you pay attention, you can hear one of the passengers saying "there's Hiacynth". I guess they figured no one would notice. :) I think overall, I just wouldn't like to be on when areas are being roped off and you are being told where you can be. I would love to be part of it if I weren't paying for the experience. :D And I know that's not how you spell it. :) Edited February 17, 2014 by brigittetom
