Mrs.Mac14 Posted January 13, 2014 #1 Share Posted January 13, 2014 I'm getting married on the Freedom and my bridal party are staying in interior rooms. I want to send them some champagne as a welcome gift, but I'm not sure if their are glasses in the room. Are their glasses in the interior rooms?? Thank you!!!! :D
joybaby Posted January 13, 2014 #2 Share Posted January 13, 2014 Yes, they should be the size of a wine glass, however when you are ordering from Bon Voyage, tell them specifically that you want Champagne glasses. If you are bringing it on for them, one 750 ml/pp, you can put a few glasses in your checked luggage. Everyone has to bring his/her own wine/ champagne in a carry on]so you can't take it on for the entire party.

Thank you!!!! :D I would work it out with Bon Voyage when you order the champagne. Aside from that, you can ask your room steward for champagne glasses, or you can ask at one of the bars. Casino bar is a good place to get them. Congrats on the upcoming wedding! We are taking a cruise on the Freedom for daughters wedding in March, but she is getting married in Key West. My daughter is MrsMac...she's getting married in Key West too, the first stop on the cruise. Are you using one of the companies in Key West to officiate your daughters March wedding? We are using a company down there, probably can't say the name but the owner is Slava. If your using the same company I would love to hear how the plans are progressing. She is having a small, intimate wedding on the beach. They will send a limo to the ship for her and fiancé and are providing all of the flowers, cake, pictures, videographer. So far, we have been very pleased with the service we have received. We are so excited!! I have 2 daughters getting married this year and this one is the least stressful! Other wedding has a guest list of 300

We're using Say Yes In Key West aka Surprise in Paradise. Only gonna be about 16 sailing but other family members are meeting us in Key West (easy for us we all live in Fl). Are you doing anything through the cruise line? We're considering doing the steakhouse after the wedding, after that to each there own time to relax and enjoy. Stilling trying to figure out if I need to make steakhouse reservations through the group office. We priced out a private party on board for two hours and the steakhouse w/ 2 drinks is still more cost efficient (not being cheap, but we're having a reception for family & friends upon our return). Two weddings..one with 300 guests..wow best of luck! My husband and I are dreading the empty nest...we have a GREAT relationship with our daughter and hope married life won't keep her away. Hopefully you or your daughter will author a review and include the details of the wedding!

Not doing anything special through the cruise line. We have 11 sailing (immediate family) and a couple other family members meeting us in Key West. We too are dining in the steak house that evening for a small reception. We are also doing a small reception for friends and family the following weekend when we get back home. Good luck with your wedding!

My son got married on a cruise 3 years ago in the Bahamas :) it was so much fun... we had 60 guests on the cruise and had a blast. I am sure both your weddings will be beautiful and the cruise to follow will be awesome :) You can bring quite a bit of stuff on the ship, just arrange it ahead of time. My daughter in law had like 30 boxes loaded at embarkation, and it went smooth. She had a conference room reserved to put together welcome bags for all the guests, had a slide show there, and they also did this on the wedding day so her and the wedding party had room to get changed etc. As parents it was pretty stress free with the wedding! We reserved the lounge at the top of the ship later in the evening for cocktails, toasts and cake/cupcakes... It appeared that our guests enjoyed this as well:) Best Wishes for a great day !
