meyratfur Posted July 18, 2005 #1 Share Posted July 18, 2005 Will we have any view at all in an outside cabin with an "obstructed view"? This will be on Emerald deck on the Star.
Toto2Kansas Posted July 18, 2005 #2 Share Posted July 18, 2005 You might try posting your cabin number as someone might have sailed in this exact cabin. Sometimes views are totally obstructed so as you all get light through the window, others are just partial. Hopefully someone else has sailed in this cabin and can give you first hand information. Druke I Posted July 18, 2005 #3 Share Posted July 18, 2005 As noted above, some "obstructed view" cabins have very good views between lifeboats, while others have no view at all, only letting in light. Cabins are sometimes reclassified from year to year - happened several times on Royal Princess - where in some cases the category changed mid-brochure year. Created some interesting upgrades! The Royal Princess was an interesting case - when introduced, the ship was advertised as totally handicapped accessible - but when ADA became law, only half dozen or so cabins qualified under the law, the difference being that European standards were so different than called for in ADA. Of course, when Royal Princess came out, she was "premium priced" also, but lower prices were introduced later to make her pricing comparable to the rest of the fleet. meyratfur Posted July 18, 2005 Author #4 Share Posted July 18, 2005 The cabin that is listed as obstructed view is E326. Has anyone been in this cabin on the Star Princess?
