Mark O Posted January 18, 2014 #1 Share Posted January 18, 2014 I'm arriving with my wife (we're 58) and my daughter and her friend (they're 24) on the Norwegian Sun at 1pm on Easter Monday and I'm concerned that there won't be a lot to do on that day. Any suggestions on what we can do on Easter Monday?
Arubalisa Posted January 18, 2014 #2 Share Posted January 18, 2014 Easter Monday is an official holiday. Stores will be closed. Everything else tourist related will function as normal-- watersports, restaurants, bars, tour excursions, taxis, etc. The public bus will run on a Sunday schedule. sharonkrn Posted January 15, 2015 #5 Share Posted January 15, 2015 We will be there on Tuesday after Easter. Will the stores be opened?
Arubalisa Posted January 15, 2015 #6 Share Posted January 15, 2015 The stores will be open on Tuesday. Some stores "may" be open on Easter Monday. Some stores, especially the upscale expensive stores in Renaissance Mall were open on Boxing Day this year which is also a National Holiday. There were 3 ships in town though, so I am sure that had something to do with some of the stores being open. The smaller "Mom and Pop" stores were closed as was the department store.
