Blk_Amish Posted January 19, 2014 Author #51 Share Posted January 19, 2014 (edited) Now when someone mention's Carnival's real strengths, and says they can do without, they're probably coming from a more sincere comparison. For instance, I can live without Princess' decor, and it's beautiful. I can live without those smallish staterooms, that's sour grapes. If this thread was really about why I am leaving Carnival to Princess, it would be flooded with post about how much better Princess is or from Carnival cheerleader saying good riddance. After everything is said and done, this cruise rank about one of the best or at least funnest. I loved my first Princess cruise, a new and different experience. I did not care for it as a family vacation and therefore might not do a family vacation on Princess again. One of the reasons for doing Princess is to sail the new designed ship. I have a weak heart and I am afraid if I stay still too long it might forget to start beating again:D [/url] , Edited January 19, 2014 by Blk_Amish
Blk_Amish Posted January 19, 2014 Author #52 Share Posted January 19, 2014 (edited) This is the craziest thing I did on Princess. Princess Cruise [, My wild side on Princess I got so bored I started to poke my DH but its nice to take things done a notch once in awhile. Princess Cruise aft balcony , The aft balcony on Princess is a vacation within itself. It's priceless always having that last look at where you have been. happy cruzin Posted January 19, 2014 #53 Share Posted January 19, 2014 Greatest ladies I have ever met. , , That's one way to have fun on a cruise and Carnival made it easy. I am missing this already because Princess though elegant and lovely doesn't deliver the fun fact. Where was this photo taken??? LOVE the swings at the bar - very cool!! Cruzface Posted January 19, 2014 #54 Share Posted January 19, 2014 If anyone is looking to try a new cruise line, try NCL. We just had 2 amazing cruises on the Epic, but going on the Carnival Breeze next. Variety is the spice of life!!!!

cruizinisthebest Posted January 20, 2014 #56 Share Posted January 20, 2014 (edited) Clearly the thread is simply to share and reminisce. Not to bash Carnival or start trying to belittle Walmart and their patrons. OR get on some high horse about products made in China. So glad OP isn't feeding into it. I'm sure Princess showed you a nice time in their own style. Enjoy your upcoming trip. Blk_Amish Posted January 20, 2014 Author #62 Share Posted January 20, 2014 (edited) We stopped in Jamaica, went home for lunch, before heading back tot the ship. Yes, one of the ladies came home with me. Yeah, I was born in Jamaica but grew up in the States, over 36+ years resident. I didn't do that last cruise (my first one), but I will definitely be purchasing new evening wear for our upcoming cruise on the Breeze!! How often do we get a chance to do that???
