SeaPeaInn Posted July 19, 2005 #2 Share Posted July 19, 2005 Is this just a list or did they consider it a ranking? Paul
mike35 Posted July 19, 2005 #3 Share Posted July 19, 2005 It's a ranking -- for the list, see http://www.travelandleisure.com/worldsbest/results.cfm?cat=cruises It's interesting to note that Travel and Leisure rates 400+ passenger ships in the "large category"; hence, no mention of Seabourn, Silversea, Windstar, etc. They are ranked in the "small ship" category. Ahh - what a shame - no mention of Carnival or NCL:p Mike

raffeer Posted July 20, 2005 #5 Share Posted July 20, 2005 Dear Travel and Leisure- Puh-leeze delete Oceania from your list. It's hard enough getting a cabin now. Thank you,
mike35 Posted July 20, 2005 #6 Share Posted July 20, 2005 Carnival owns 3 of the cruise lines mentioned as being the top 10.Holland America Princess Cunard arizonaartie I'm aware of Carnival's holdings, Artie. Although Royal Caribbean owns Celebrity, both made the "top 10". Each has its own personality, service standards, amenities, etc. I was just trying to make the point that the Carnival-branded ships didn't make the "cut".
