Speak for yourself! I've never been frightened of going on holiday, and I don't know anyone that has (maybe the whole world lives in fear and trembling of their next trip, but if so, they don't tell me!) ;-)

I have been and always have the fear before embarking on a vacation, esp if one I have never been. It's a lot of money to spend, and if it doesn't work out, a lot of money lost! Esp for us, since we are self employed, we don't get paid vacations. Any vacation money spent is on top of money we lose for not working! So yes it is scary!
