aprilfool01 Posted January 29, 2014 #1 Share Posted January 29, 2014 Just wondered if the very knowledgable kind souls on here who have helped me in the past have any thoughts on this - do you work out what you are prepared to pay for a cruise (including flights) on a per night ratio and then multiply it by either 7 days or 14 to get what you are prepared to pay for a cruise. I ask because I have been tracking a 14 night cruise/ stay in the med And it currently works out at about £107 each. - this seems high?
Langtoncouple Posted January 29, 2014 #2 Share Posted January 29, 2014 I think this is reasonable, Many British hotels can charge this just for bed and breakfast. On a cruise you are getting all meals and snacks. It includes flights and the cost of getting to all these wonderful destinations. Then you have got entertainment. A trip to the theatre would cost over £20 on the mainland. Okay its not a full show but is stilll an evening of entertainment. And on the mainland you have to budget in cost of taxis etc. Without the ship, I wonder how much the cost would be if you were to book yourself travel to and from each country you visit,
Comeondown Posted January 30, 2014 #3 Share Posted January 30, 2014 That sounds about right, but depends on star rating of hotel, time of year, inside/ outside cabin etc.
