surfjock27 Posted January 29, 2014 #1 Share Posted January 29, 2014 We are purchasing the Cheers! Program for our upcoming Breeze cruise. I understand there is a $10 menu price limit for a drink to be included. Let's say however, I am wanting a 'Hurricane Wave' (layers of Hurricane and Banana Daiquiri crafted with Bacardi Rum) which is on the menu for $7.50. On the bottom of the menu it says " Add a floater of Bacardi Oakheart Spiced Rum for $2.00). Am I allowed to get the Hurricane Wave WITH the floater, since it will only take my total to $9.50? I also see things like "Upgrade to Super Premium Liquor for $1 more".. Allowed, as long as it's under $10? Thanks in advance!

It's allowed, but don't be surprised if the Hurricane Wave hasn't gone up to $8.95 which would put your floater over the $10 limit. You can still purchase it and pay cash as long as you are not over your 15 drink limit. It shouldn't count against your limit.
Rare 1kaper Posted January 29, 2014 #3 Share Posted January 29, 2014 (edited) In another thread a poster said he was not allowed because it is considered a double shot, even under $10. He recommended ordering the shot separate, then 5 minutes later ordering the drink and adding the shooter (or maybe you'll be lucky enough to find a bartender who will ring them in 5 minutes apart without waiting). I can't find that thread but here is another one http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1792047&highlight=all+things+cheers&page=30 Edited January 29, 2014 by 1kaper
tncap Posted January 29, 2014 #4 Share Posted January 29, 2014 I recall having difficulty adding the floater as well. I told them not to worry about it rather than inquire further.
Max Circus Posted January 29, 2014 #5 Share Posted January 29, 2014 I didn't try to order a drink with a floater on the Paradise with my Cheers, but I was told at least twice by the person I bought the sticker from that doubles weren't included. Guessing a floater would be considered a double. :)
