starlight_cruiser Posted January 30, 2014 #1 Share Posted January 30, 2014 Hi We are considering booking our first cruise... Mariner of the Seas Feb 2015 Our daughters will be 5 & 7 at the time of the cruise. The age grouping is 3-5 & 6-8 so it seems they will be separated, can they do stuff together, eg join each other groups or even just the older join the younger or must they stick to there grouping? My girls are very close I am sure they'd want to spend some time together? Thanks in advance :)
ARCruisinNana Posted January 30, 2014 #2 Share Posted January 30, 2014 My granddaughters are 14 months apart. A couple years ago we were on Mariner (when she was homeported in Galveston). One girl was 5 and the other 6. They both had already cruised several times and were comfortable with Adventure Ocean. We asked if the 5 year old could go with the 6 year old. They allowed her to do so. They may have your younger child start in the 3-5 year old group and then if they do well may move them to the 6-8 group. It also depends on how many kids are in each group. I hope your kids enjoy AO as much as my grandchildren do:)
