lhall85917 Posted July 20, 2005 #1 Share Posted July 20, 2005 I'm trying to put together a list of great websites to use in planning our group cruise to Hawaii. Please post your favorite links for any of the islands... thanks :D
Suebee Posted July 20, 2005 #2 Share Posted July 20, 2005 Being an internet junkie, I tried using websites. The best investment we have made in planning any trip is the "revealed" guides. We just ot back from the Big Island and used "The Big Island Revealed" as a guide. It reads a little like a brochure you would pick up at the site instead of a little blurb...and gives REAL recommendations. It is the first time I actually sat with a guide book in my lap while drving around anywhere in the world. Most guide books tag along but hardly used because they are frustratingly incomplete. H20 Lover Posted July 20, 2005 #3 Share Posted July 20, 2005 In addition to the Revealed books as Sue said (which are AWESOME), I've got millions of links, but here's a couple I like: http://www.letsgo-hawaii.com/ http://www.driveguidemagazines.com/ great maps, very interactive http://cruiseclues.com/ http://www.gohawaii.com/ Have fun surfin'! :D
Beryl Posted July 21, 2005 #4 Share Posted July 21, 2005 I definitely agee with Suebee about the "Revealed" books. They are the best! If you want to have a sneak peek take a look at http://www.wizardpub.com! Beg the books from a friend, borrow them from the library or buy them for yourself. They are indispensible! I also want to mention that no matter how many times I visit Hawaii I always re read Michner's "Hawaii" before I go. It gets me in the Aloha mood!
