Inkah Posted February 3, 2014 #1 Share Posted February 3, 2014 Is there a stingray excursion that doesnt include snorkeling? I just want to swim/interact with the rays and not have to sit around for an hour or two while everyone else snorkles.
katti michele Posted February 3, 2014 #2 Share Posted February 3, 2014 We did the "Stingrays and Island" tour with Nativeways because we were not interested in snorkeling and felt the same way you do. If you're not interested in exploring the island, then this might be pointless for you, but it definitely does not have a snorkeling aspect so it might be something worth looking into! pamawi Posted February 3, 2014 #3 Share Posted February 3, 2014 As far as Carnival's Stingray excursions I'm pretty sure only one includes a real snorkel, which is the Coral Gardens and Stingray City. Even though the boats have snorkel gear for those that want to look under the water, many people don't use it. They also don't let you wear fins with the stingrays. SandEinTx Posted February 3, 2014 #4 Share Posted February 3, 2014 The excursion with the Allura (catamaran) doesn't have snorkeling. They provide snorkels, but I only saw one or two people use them when we went last week and there was no time set aside for it. Loved the whole excursion, btw :-)
