Questions re: Penthouse on Wind

Hi all --

New to NCL & am looking at an 11 night trip on the Wind next year. Will probably go with a Penthouse (Cat. AB). Would be interested to hear about anyone's experience with these cabins. Is there a privacy problem with the window to open deck? Available on decks 8, 9, & 10 -- any deck better or worse?

Thanks,

Jim

Jim,

The decks that these cabins are on are rarely used. At least they were on our cruise. People can look in at night so you will need the curtains closed but there is never many people out there. Its usally too windy or people dont know these decks exist. There is much more of a problem with the cabins on the prom deck then these AB suites.

Dont expect too much luxury from these suites, however they are quite roomy with a curtained off bed area.

All the ABs are very similar no deck is better then the other. All will have some navigation problems getting from the front of the ship to the rear.

Jim,

Actually I just checked the deck plans. Deck 8s AB suites have a straight run from the front to the back of the ship.

Deck 9 you need to pass thru the four seasons rest. and

Deck 10 where we were you need to pass thru the stardust lounge which can be closed off durning shows and rehersals.
