haslipe Posted February 12, 2014 #1 Share Posted February 12, 2014 We just happened on the Turtle Farm our first time in Grand Cayman. We took a taxi that cost a lot more than the public bus because we didn't know any better, but the taxi driver went in and talked to the Turtle Farm people and got us a better rate. It saved us quite a bit, but I can't remember exactly. I think it saved us more than the cab ride. Anyway, I just thought I would see what others have found for a way to cut the cost on the Turtle Farm. If it was up to me, the one time was plenty, but this time we are taking our boys, 7 and 10, and my wife is dead set on going to the Turtle Farm. 2 adults and 2 children. Also, I would like to go to a good beach afterwards. Any recommendations on that would also be greatly appreciated. Is Seven Mile Beach anywhere close to the Turtle Farm??? CaribbeanBound Posted February 14, 2014 #2 Share Posted February 14, 2014 Good question. I too am interested in an answer to your question. 7-mile beach is on the way to and back from the Turtle Farm. As best as I can tell, the standard pricing is as follows: Turtle Adventure Tour- Includes the Entire Park Adults (over 12) - $45 USD Turtle Farm Exploration Tour - Includes just the Turtle Farm Adults (over 12) - $30 USD
CaribbeanBound Posted February 26, 2014 #3 Share Posted February 26, 2014 Just discovered 2 discounts to the Turtle Farm. 1. The Turtle Farm offers a 20% discount when tickets are bought in advance. 2. Explore Cayman says you can get a discount of 10% at the Turtle Farm if you walk up to the ticket booth and mention "EXPLORE". This not-so-secret word will also get you 10% off at the Schooner's Bar & Grill and Splash Gift Shop.
