FLL Hotel for New Year's Eve???

I'm helping a friend plan her cruise and she will be flying into FLL on 12/31/05 to catch her 1/1/06 cruise (Carnival). Can anyone suggest a good hotel for 4 ladies (mid-20's) that might want to celebrate New Year's Eve somewhere nearby the hotel? Thanks for the input!

They might enjoy the Seminole Hard Rock. It's 15 minutes from the airport and Port Everglades and a great place to spend New Year's eve!... http://www.seminolehardrockhollywood.com/

I will be watching this thread. I am opposite tho. I cant get a flight home from my Dec 31 cruise. I need to stay somewhere Dec 31 and catch my flight home Jan 1. Now I will be bringing in the New Year in a hotel somewhere in Florida...lol

Can someone help us out with suggestions?

Stacy I answered your other post with the Embassy Suites, the one that I'm pretty sure will take 5 in a room... If that doesn't work out you may try these, this list is also for the OP.
