kazakaza Posted February 19, 2014 #1 Share Posted February 19, 2014 I have just priced a cruise up for August on the Liberty of the seas to the med, the balconies have gone down in price to the same as the ocean view, I am so tempted to book now but scared that it might drop again to be more in our budget. Has anyone had any experience with booking later on and getting a better deal. Thanks in advance.
PSCruiser Posted February 19, 2014 #2 Share Posted February 19, 2014 If it drops again before final payment, you just call and get an adjustment. However, not 100% sure this applies in the UK.
emeraldcity Posted February 19, 2014 #3 Share Posted February 19, 2014 14 months ago I booked 3 cabins on Liberty for April 2014. The two balcony cabins have only gone up in price. The JS, however had three price drops and I've managed to save over $500 from the original price. It all depends on whatever isn't selling well. MrsPete Posted February 19, 2014 #4 Share Posted February 19, 2014 Book. There's no downside to booking early. As long as your "final payment date" hasn't arrived, you can still call in and ask for a price match. And if you book early, you're more likely to get the room you want. If you can't sail, you can get a full refund up until almost the last minute. Book. Like I said, there's no downside.
kazakaza Posted February 19, 2014 Author #5 Share Posted February 19, 2014 Thanks so much for your input, I so want to book.....I will think for a few days I suppose whatever will be will be .....we haven't been on anything as big as the liberty of the seas before so would be a refreshing change.
