Ocean Terminal Hong Kong -

We will be arriving in Hong Kong at Ocean Terminal next month (Crystal Symphony) - the hotel is sending a car and driver and they want to know "where to meet us"

Having never been there do not know if anyone has a suggestion as to where one comes out of the terminal - or advice as to meeting place. Also is it pretty organized and easily done to get a porter and luggage - again any help and suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you!

Ocean Terminal is not so much a cruise terminal as it is a shopping mall that has ships parked outside. There are 2 main pedestrian entrances at the end of the terminal closest to the Star Ferry Terminal.

But embarking and disembarking passengers usually collect / drop off bags at the other end (the ocean end) of the terminal. This is also where most of the taxis and cars queue to pick you up. There are many porters and trolleys at this end as well.

Yes, agree with previous poster.

It's a one way system around the Mall so the taxis come in one side and out the other.

There's usually taxi marshalls helping passengers so have a word with them and let them know you've booked a car. Probably best idea is to wait near them?

Thank you so much for your help - now re-considering the idea of the car from the hotel - it might be easier to simply do a taxi? Concerned that if it is this large - might just be easier to do a taxi - if there are porters that will take the luggage out to the taxis - any thoughts? Appreciate your taking the time to respond.

The marshalls are adjacent to the luggage area - very short distance to roll/carry. They will help the driver to put the luggage in the car and also tell him which hotel you're going to (not all taxi drivers speak good English).
