No pack & plays?

I thought I saw that pack & plays were available upon request, but when I called today I called Carnival and they said they only have cribs unless kids fall asleep while in Camp Carnival. So only those white cribs in stateroom? I'm afraid my 2 year old will climb out. Anyone have any experience with this? Thank you.

I used one on the last two cruises. It wasn't an issue. It was about the same depth as a pack-n-play.

I know it's somewhat cumbersome, but they do fold up pretty compactly. You could always just bring yours.....

I am sure it would be more comfortable.......

Wouldnt it be easier to get out of pack n play than crib?

 

Besides would think one of you would be in the cabin while the little one is in it.

I used the crib twice. Once with a 2 year old and another with an almost 2 year old. No problems. I actually prefer them because I feel like they can be sanitized better.

I figured the pack and play is closer to the ground if he does climb out. And he usually wakes up before I do, so even in the same room I am worried about him getting hurt.

We had a crib a couple of years ago when our grandson was about 1 and remember it as rather small and low to the ground.

Maybe that will work, thanks! I really don't want to lug our heavy pack and play...especially since I can't find the bag it goes in.

Yeah just the portable cribs. We went last May and my son turned 2 just a week before we sailed and he absolutely was able to climb out. I just had it right at the end of the bed so he could climb up onto the bed and not fall. Heres a pic.
