ynksfan167 Posted February 21, 2014 #1 Share Posted February 21, 2014 Is it worth it to get FTTF on the Valor? Thoughts....Thanks!
stormy_weatherman Posted February 21, 2014 #2 Share Posted February 21, 2014 We purchased for our March 9th sailing on the Valor just so we could go right to our room and drop our luggage upon checking out of our hotel (since our plane doesn't arrive until 10:30 the night before), giving us plenty of time to explore San Juan. It would also be beneficial if you had an earlier flight on the Sunday you return, which would allow you to be in one of the first groups off the ship. Plus you never know when you may have a question for/reason to visit the Guest Services desk. The line stayed pretty long on our October Conquest cruise. larkz Posted February 21, 2014 #3 Share Posted February 21, 2014 For me, it wouldn't be worth the price. Without tendering (the ship docks at all five ports) it just doesn't have enough value. The other benefits are great, but not enough, in my opinion.
cruisinqt Posted February 21, 2014 #4 Share Posted February 21, 2014 We did it on the Dream last summer and loved it. We were escorted past long crowded lines and onto the ship rather quickly.:) While on the ship I loved having access to the platinum/FTTF line at the pursers desk. There was usually ten or more in the normal line (most of the time many many more). But the platinum/FTTF line was usually empty or maybe just one person in it. We always have issues with our account or have questions or want to regulate our kids account on their S&S cards. It's nice to walk up and get it done quickly and skip the normal lines that are huge. Priority tendering was nice too. We liked it so much that we purchased it again for our upcoming Freedom cruise.
riclop Posted February 21, 2014 #5 Share Posted February 21, 2014 Not worth the $50 for a couple of minutes.
MarriedInStThomas1807 Posted February 21, 2014 #6 Share Posted February 21, 2014 We got it because our flights come in during the busy time of the afternoon and we want to be able to drop off our luggage to our room, go explore San Juan some more, and come back to (hopefully) our luggage at our room door. To us, I believe it's worth it.
