RCI vs Princess when traveling with 20 somethings

We have travelled on Princess several times, Carnival once (and found it better than expectations) but now are planning a family cruise with our 2 adult children, both in their 20's. Planning a Caribbean cruise, just as a relaxation getaway - everyone's graduated from college thing. Am I right in thinking that Royal might be more up their alley? They like outdoor sports and activities, but are the climbing wall, surf simulator, ice skating rink etc so crowded that it is hard to enjoy them? We do enjoy Movies under the Stars on Princess, but did find on our last cruise that is was silly crowded and you had to be there at least 30 minutes early to even find a spot each showing. We also are not crazy about Princess entertainment, find the dancer shows to be not well done and really too provocative for our taste, with a lot of fairly obscure songs. So... any feedback would be appreciated. Also we live in Texas so probably would prefer to sail out of here, does that make a difference in this decision as well. Thanks in advance for any guidance and direction.:)

I can't speak for Princess, but I've never had trouble on RCI using the amenities described above. If you go to the flow rider at a prime time on a sea day you may have a little bit of a wait (e.g., I had a wait 20+ for the zip line on the Oasis when I went at a prime time on a sea day), but I've never been unable to use these amenities because of crowds.
