finding own excursions/tours Legend 3/1 sail

looking for information on if anyone booked any excursions with local tour companies instead of with the ship and if so who you used,where,and how did it go?

Have used various vendors. Most of the time I book on-line. Have never had a problem

Can't do better in Bonaire than Achie Tours. Google them. They provide the same tour as they do for the ship's excursion for a little over half the price if you book direct. Or, just get off the ship in Bonaire, turn left at the end of the dock and head towards the umbrellas. You'll find Achie tours and others there, and you will be looked after.

 

No need to book with the ship for Bonaire.

On Antigua, you can pay a lot of money to go to Nelson's Dockyard, or you can take the local bus for $3.00 pp return. I'll post details here if you say you want them.

Depends on what you are looking for. Island marketing is a company I've dealt with before? Also you can usually find indepent companies such as Bottoms up in Belize that specialize in one main type of tour? Just do your research

Have you joined the roll call for your cruise? People organize their own tours and ask others to join.

 

If you don't want to tour with others, you should check each port on this website for recommendations.
