garnet115 Posted February 26, 2014 Author #26 Share Posted February 26, 2014 Interesting. I'll do some research to see how widespread it is, just out of curiosity. I'm in Indiana, and we close for 2 weeks around Christmas, then a week for Spring Break in April. School was set to end on May 19. (Extended this year due to making up snow days.) I have friends in various states, and none do this, but I have none in the NY area. I wish we had that nice break! If it makes you feel any better, New York schools (at least in the city) go until the last week in June, so there is a trade off for these extra vacation days... Teesa1021 Posted February 26, 2014 #27 Share Posted February 26, 2014 Do you know if at the pier while you are waiting to board, is there an excursion counter where you can book? I'm debating on booking the universal pass for the day we are in Florida. May droit online but I have so much on board credit. Also I don't want to have to rush to the excursion desk when I board Sent from my iPad using Forums mobile app

If excursions weren't full, they could be purchased onboard, either at the guest services desk or through the iconcierge app (and I assume through the interactive TV although I didn't check). I did look at the excursions that I had booked and saw that the KSC excursion was sold out, so you do run some risk if you don't pre-book depending on how crowded your sailing is.
