Classes/Tastings?

When we cruised on Disney they offered several different classes (for a fee of course!) that we enjoyed such as a Mixology class, wine or champagne tastings, tequila tastings, etc. does Carnival offer anything like that on any of their ships? We will be on the Conquest in April. Thanks!

They offer a wine tasting class, price varies by ship, there is a mini-martini tasting for a fee...but not really a class, there is a free cooking demonstration on ships with a steakhouse...not really a class more of watch us cook and eat a bunch of mushroom themed food. They also sometimes offer Margarita tastings (for a fee).

The wine tasting last month on the Imagination was about $10, lasted an hour and you sampled 5 different wines. It's done by one of the maitre'd's and was a lot of fun.

We did this on the Dream and really enjoyed it! Though I do have to say that Disney did offer many more of these style classes and we really enjoyed them. Hopefully Carnival will add more of them in time.

Very much looking forward to attending the wine pairing class on the Breeze. We did it on the Glory a few years ago and it was a great experience and really bumped our interest in wine up a couple of notches. I believe they also offer a chef's class in the steakhouse.
