has anyone recently sailed on the Zuiderdam? This is an older ship and I have read many negative comments about the condition of the ship. We really like the itinerary, so would like to do this. Anyone have any comments on the condition of the ship. Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

Sailed on the Zuiderdam January 24 through February 3. We found the ship to be in acceptable condition. Some of the carpets on the stairs were a bit worn. Not anything which detracted from a pleasant trip for us. We had been on the Zuiderdam back in 2004 and so it was fun to see it again. We had no AC or plumbing problems. I would not hesitate to book a trip on her. Have a great time if you decide to go.
