ctyhrn Posted February 27, 2014 #1 Share Posted February 27, 2014 I looked up a taxi finder and it said it would cost about $20 one way, where the Carnival transfer is $24 per person does that seem right to anyone? My husband and I are going straight from the airport to the port and toegether it would be cheaper to take a taxi. I would think the Carnival trasnfer would be about the same price. Anyone had experiance with this?
jgmpuma Posted February 27, 2014 #2 Share Posted February 27, 2014 Cab is $33 for two persons. It costs more, but is a lot quicker.
ctyhrn Posted February 28, 2014 Author #3 Share Posted February 28, 2014 If it's $33 for 2 ppl in a taxi than that would be cheaper than 48 for two people on the shuttle, right? Is there a benefit of spending more for a shuttle than the taxi?
VideoTech Posted February 28, 2014 #4 Share Posted February 28, 2014 As far as I'm concerned: No benefit to the shuttle. With the shuttle, you have to wait until they fill the van or the bus (if it's a cruise ship transfer). With the taxi, you get your bags and go. Also, if you use one of the airport shuttle services, you'll probably find you're stopping at several hotels (for other customers in the van) on the way to the pier.
