emuangel Posted March 3, 2014 #1 Share Posted March 3, 2014 My DH and I will be on the POA in 2 weeks. We've most recently sailed Carnival and they usually have pretty good shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the dispensers in the cabin showers. Is this also true about NCL? Do they provide toiletries and are they decent/good? Thanks!
triptolemus Posted March 3, 2014 #2 Share Posted March 3, 2014 (edited) Have you ever bathed in battery's acid? Washed your hair with brake cleaner? Moisturize and soothe your dry skin with Liquid Plumbr? Wipe your bum with sandpaper? NCL toiletries are exactly not like those things. You will be fine. VideoTech Posted March 3, 2014 #3 Share Posted March 3, 2014 NCL is much the same as any other cruise line. In the regular cabins, they have toiletries in dispensers on the wall. They're average, generic quality, have no idea who makes them. In suites they "upgrade" to add some Elemis products (which they also push in the Spa). greatlakesgirl Posted March 3, 2014 #5 Share Posted March 3, 2014 I liked the soap. :) And it's fine to start a thread on the topic. ;)

Unless you, L3GWG, are the CC Police, you have no right to criticize the OP. Emuangle, we've been in both a suite and a regular balcony, and while the suite toiletries were a bit nicer the regular ones are fine, however, they combine the shampoo and conditioner, so if you need a separate conditioner (which I did) just throw a small one in your suitcase and you should be fine. Enjoy your cruise. Edited March 4, 2014 by B6ConMe
puddles99 Posted March 4, 2014 #7 Share Posted March 4, 2014 In my opinion, the combined shampoo / conditioner isn't good at all. I would recommend bringing your own (you can pick some up in Honolulu if you don't want to fly with it).
ma40 Posted March 4, 2014 #8 Share Posted March 4, 2014 Hi. all cruise lines have eliminated hair conditioner & skin lotion, wall dispensers for liquid soap and shampoo/cond. Bring skin lotion, get a small plastic bottle, fill it from the large bottle you use at home, If you get sunburned it is necessary. Hair conditioner, bring it with you. If you are stopping at San Juan PR,there is a drug store across the street,US specials are the same price there. If Pt Canaveral, doing the shuttle to Cocoa Beach, ask the driver, the stores are not too far.
