My partner and I are also on the cruise and are also from DC (Logan Circle). Should be an amazing trip and if you care to meet for dinner or drinks we can compare notes.

 

We had started a thread for this cruise under “Celebrity Silhouette September 23, 2014 Venice to Rome” last December but will switch to your thread or you can switch to that one. You are using the correct cruise name while we used the starting and ending cities. There are no other posters on our thread so we are still early.

Flight prices finally came down so we booked our flights. Our apartment in Venice before the cruise and our hotel in Milan after the cruise are reserved. We have signed up for a couple of tours in Venice and are considering a couple of others. Our plans continue to gel…

 

We would enjoy meeting to share thoughts about the cruise and the cities we will be visiting.

We had dinner with two fellow travelers on our cruise last night and look forward to comparing notes with you guys too. There is still lots to do before the cruise. Next on our list are train tickets which we should be able to book May 18th.

We have changed our cabin twice, moved airline seats three times and today we booked our massages at the spa.

Amazing how time is starting to fly by and we still have plans to finalize.

Boarding passes printed. Counting down the hours until our flights...

 

The first of our group leaves tomorrow (9/15) and the last leaves a week from Monday (9/22) and we all board the ship a week from Tuesday (9/23).

 

Should be an amazing trip.
