First cruise with both kids

The last cruise we took, our son was 2. He went on 2 cruises without any motion sickness. Now he is 8 and my daughter is 5. Do you think I need to prepare for that possibility? If so, what is out there that they can use?

Children's Bonine works great. You only have to take it if and when you feel nauseated.

I've taken my kids on three cruises and they've never been seasick. While I doubt they will suddenly develop motion sickness now when they've been fine before, I do take some kind of children's motion sickness medication just in case they do.

Our pediatrician suggested simple benadryl.

 

We also brought along the safe for children OTC med for motion sickness (the name slips my mind right now, but it's the most common one, not bonine.)

 

I also brought along a few different ginger/candy options.

 

Neither of them (6 &3) ended up needing any, but darn it we were prepared. I'm an over packer, I even brought pink eye drops. Ya never know!?!?!
