Coral World

We are considering going on our own to Coral World. I read that you can take a walking tour on the bottom of the ocean? How is this done? If we only had 2-3 hours, would that be enough to make going to CW worth it?

You don't actually go into the water. You go down inside a building that goes underwater and look out thru windows. You can see photos of Coral World here: http://community.webshots.com/album/160616569FZvwSz You could go underwater there if you did something like a helmut dive where you walk on the bottom with a big clear plastic bubble helmut on. Air is supplied from the surface and you just walk around. In St. Thomas there is also a thing called "Underwater B.O.B. adventure" where you ride around on an underwater scooter like device that also has the clear bubble helmut.

Usually this excursion is offered thru the ship, or here: http://www.bobusvi.com/
