Galveston to IAH Car Rental

Since our flight doesn't leave until after 7pm, DW and I were looking to rent a car and explore a bit after our cruise gets in on the way back to IAH. I have already search the board here and saw the standard answers. However...

 

- Despite the fact our cruise gets in Saturday, (not Sunday, which is odd for Navigator), Enterprise in Galveston has no cars available.

- Hertz in Texas city is closed Saturdays

 

Are there any other car rentals nearby that do one-way? There is a "24x7" Hertz in League City, but I'm not sure how we would get there without taking a cab, pushing the cost above just getting a shuttle to the airport.

It appears that League city location offers pickup, but only one hours, after opening/before closing. So on Saturday, basically between 10 and 11.
