Allure questions

Hi,

I'm sure this has been addressed somewhere but I can't find anything. We are seasoned cruisers but have never sailed on RC. I have read Allure reviews and am excited about our upcoming trip on the Allure.

1. Can we wear nice jeans in the dining room on casual nights or the first night. ( My 16 yr. old needs to know.:))

2. How formal is formal night, each cruise line seems to be different. Can ladies wear a nice pants outfit and do men need a jacket and tie or will a nice shirt and pants be okay.

3. Are there free beverages available all day at the buffet...iced tea or lemonade

Any other tips from people that have recently returned would be appreciated. I already have learned a lot from reviews. Thanks!

1. Yes. The first night, especially, is extremely casual because some passengers may not have gotten their luggage yet.

 

2. Generally nice, although you'll see a couple outliers here and there. Men do not need a jacket, but know that the majority will be wearing one.

 

3. Iced tea and lemonade are both available at the buffet (and at Park Cafe, if I remember correctly).

2. You will find a wide range of dress. They do not really enforce any kind of dress code. Pants outfit for ladies and shirt and pants will be fine.
