JVNYC Posted March 17, 2014 #1 Share Posted March 17, 2014 (edited) Does anyone know if this is a standard sized A2 stateroom? It's sandwiched in between PH staterooms on Deck 10 forward. Was wondering if the size is different b/c of that location. Also, I noticed there is a large spotlight hanging from below the bridge that is in view of stateroom 10002. Is this ever on during the evening? Would it be bothersome? Thanks for your help! JimandStan, hopefully you have some great photos! journeyfan Posted March 17, 2014 #2 Share Posted March 17, 2014 I believe it is the same size as an A stateroom. It is definitely not the size of a PH statement. It is not a stateroom I would select if there was availability in any of the other A staterooms. I would book any available A4, A3 or even A2 over that one as it is so high and so far forward that it would be subject to lots of motion in high seas. JimandStan Posted March 17, 2014 #3 Share Posted March 17, 2014 The searchlight below the bridge wing is used very infrequently. They try to keep exterior illumination to a minimum at the bow, so that the Officers may maintain a good line of sight while navigating the ship. It is principally there in case the camera just next to it picks up something untoward. 10006 and 10007 are both typically sized A2 Cabins.
