Norwegian Gem - May 17

My boyfriend and I just booked a seven-day trip to the Bahamas on the Norwegian Gem, leaving NYC May 17th. Anyone else on board?

 

Also, this will be my first cruise with NCL. How are they usually? What sort of people can I probably expect to sail with? I heard NCL skews older, especially when kids are still in school.

 

Oh! And we have an overnight in Nassau. What to do?

Hi there!

 

I will be sailing on 5/17 as well. The GEM is my favorite NCL ship as is the Bahamas sailing. The 7 day cruise usually has a great mix of ages. It is the 9 day or longer cruises where you have many older guests. On a 9 day or more cruise, Bliss is empty by 8pm. :-)
