Setting up Sign & Sail Card for child....

My son is bringing his 13 yr old daughter on a cruise next month and wants her to have limited spending money on her S & S card. Can he just set up her card with like $100?

If she blows it in 1 day - too bad, or he can add more money. (He can also do $10 a day...)

I think he has to do this once he gets onboard though-limiting the amount of spending I mean. I did our check in online, it only gave me the option to give my DSs charging privileges or not-no limits. I plan on going to Guest Services once onboard to have a limit placed -I have a 13 year old as well and he would spend $100 in the arcade if we let him :eek:

I have gotten my daughters their own room on our upcoming cruise. If they recieve Carnival gift cards/ cash can it be set up that they each have their own account within the room? We've alwasy had everything charge to one account so I'm not sure how it works. I'd like them to be able to use their gift cards and then have it overflow to my credit card. I'm not concerned about them over charging without premission.

Yes they take the gift cards to Guest services with their SS card and have them apply it. No problem. If you have a lanyard, have guest services punch a hole too
