Shore Excursion Question

I have booked our one and only shorex for our upcoming 11 night Jade cruise..we leave tomorrow. My question is, we have more OBC than we realized and I would have liked that to go towards the shorex. I have until tonight to cancel the shorex for a refund to my credit card and then I can book again on the ship. The shorex desk cannot tell me the inventory of this tour or how much it would cost on the ship. I am not worried about it selling out since we are the only ship in port. Should I just leave it alone, or risk paying a lot more to book on the ship?

The tour is Aix en Provence for $59 pp

Thanks for any advice

NCL claims it's from $1 to $50 more per person to book on the ship.. are they just trying to scare me?

No they are not trying to scare you and the prices I've seen in the past were the same.

However, on our last cruise. We were looking at a shore ex for Cozumel, but didn't figure it would sell out quick so we decided to book that one on the ship.

NCL online price $59, purchased on the ship $64.99. :(

I don't know if this is always the case, but it was with that excursion.
