kimkencruzers Posted March 19, 2014 #1 Share Posted March 19, 2014 I have booked our one and only shorex for our upcoming 11 night Jade cruise..we leave tomorrow. My question is, we have more OBC than we realized and I would have liked that to go towards the shorex. I have until tonight to cancel the shorex for a refund to my credit card and then I can book again on the ship. The shorex desk cannot tell me the inventory of this tour or how much it would cost on the ship. I am not worried about it selling out since we are the only ship in port. Should I just leave it alone, or risk paying a lot more to book on the ship? The tour is Aix en Provence for $59 pp Thanks for any advice
ImaKrazyKruizer Posted March 19, 2014 #2 Share Posted March 19, 2014 My GUESS is that if it is still available to book now it will be on board. That is ONLY a guess.
rbrugler Posted March 19, 2014 #3 Share Posted March 19, 2014 The cost is the same either way.
kimkencruzers Posted March 19, 2014 Author #4 Share Posted March 19, 2014 The cost is the same either way. NCL claims it's from $1 to $50 more per person to book on the ship.. are they just trying to scare me?

I never saw a price difference in any of the shore-ex we priced pre-cruise and during the cruise.

No they are not trying to scare you and the prices I've seen in the past were the same. However, on our last cruise. We were looking at a shore ex for Cozumel, but didn't figure it would sell out quick so we decided to book that one on the ship. NCL online price $59, purchased on the ship $64.99. :( I don't know if this is always the case, but it was with that excursion.
Demonyte Posted March 19, 2014 #7 Share Posted March 19, 2014 I've seen different prices onboard too, it's rare but it can happen.

Da-Painter Posted March 20, 2014 #10 Share Posted March 20, 2014 Be sure to go and book the shore excursions first thing, once you get on the ship. Then go eat, and don't stop....... til you depart the ship. :p
