Good Morning, Can someone please tell me what type of hair dryers on in the cabins on the Silhouette. We will be sailing on 4/6 in Aqua class and I was wondering if the nozzle of the hair dryer is round or the old fashion square one that goes on the wall. Since we have to fly to Fort Lauderdale, I really didn't want to take mine.

I believe that it was round. But, I am not positive. I always bring my own. They aren't that powerful

They are regular hand-held hair dryers (located in the desk drawer). They are a little less powerful than mine at home but adequate. TI thnk some have the downside is that you have to hold down the button to keep them on, so I bring a thick rubber band and leave it on the button the whole cruise, just unplug to turn off. I tried slipping the rubber band off and on each time but half way through the cruise the rubber band broke and I was in deep trouble!:eek:

 

I do not want to spend my precious weight allowance on a hair dryer!!

My wife uses a hair dryer every day and she always uses the dryers on the ship. I have never heard her complain (although her hair is not that long). I believe the nozzle is round.
