Just returned from the Valor.

It is now $21.00 per cab up to 7 $1.00 per luggage and $2.00 surcharge.

If you take Carnival shuttle you may have to wait till they have a full load.

Just go outside to the taxi stand (I did not pay for my my carry on bags)

Got a voucher and it will tell the driver that is what you pay.

How about private shuttles? Are they at the airport to? We have a group of 9 flying in, we would like to all stick together.

I found this shuttle this morning as I was googling for my group. Says $85 to Cruise Area for a private van up to 10 passengers. I haven't really looked into it though since I'm not sure how many we have yet since my group is flying in from different areas. If you get any info, please let me know. In case they delete the link its www dot shuttlevanpr dot com.

Thought their website look familiar, I had already emailed them. Francisco emailed me back with prices. As I need transportation 3 separate times. He is charging us $10pp per trip cash. If you choose to pay with credit card there is an 8% fee on top of that. So cash it will be for us. ;)

Was that 21 total for 2? Exactly here is the location of the taxi stand?

Taxis in PR are regulated. There is a dispatcher who will give you a confirmed price (written) based on where you are going, how many people, how much luggage (small day packs on your lap don't count) and how late it is at night (as there is an evening premium).

Rates are fair and much less than cruise ship shuttles. There will always be a few big vans waiting in the line for those that need them.

If you don't understand your rate, he will show you the zones and the rules and it will all make sense.

Of course, as everywhere, tips are not included and much appreciated.

@OP arrived in the middle of the night, 2 of us with 2 suitcases, heading to Hilton and our fare was under $25.00 with tip.
