sailingwithfriends Posted March 29, 2014 #1 Share Posted March 29, 2014 Three parts to this question. First, can someone tell me what the games "Battle of the Sexes" is about? Second, can you enlighten me about the game "Quest"? Third, does anyone know if these games are on the Sunshine? Thanks for responses.

terri-eddie Posted March 29, 2014 #5 Share Posted March 29, 2014 For Battle of the Sexes, the audience is divided by gender...all the men sit on one side of the theatre, all the ladies on the other. Each team is asked questions that would be easier for the other gender to answer [for example, they might ask a question about football to the women, or about makeup to the men]. A team captain runs around gathering thoughts from his/her team mates, then presents the answer. Points if they are correct. Other team can "steal" the points by giving the correct answer if the first guess is wrong. Game of Quest involves mixed teams. The entertainment host will offer points for the first, second and third team who can present the item he/she asks for. Usually it's something physical and silly like "A man wearing womens shoes"....which of course, will be followed by "A woman wearing mens shoes". The quests get sillier and sillier...and slightly risque, like "A woman riding a man like a horse". Quite funny and enjoyable, although you'd probably not want to bring your children. IPlayWithString Posted March 29, 2014 #6 Share Posted March 29, 2014 On our last cruise, we won Battle of the Sexes because the tie breaker question was one I knew the answer to immediately on account of I'm a tomboy and an 80s movie nut. The question was, "Which 80s film had this tag line: There Can Be Only One?" The answer, of course, is "The Highlander". :D
